This New York State Historic Site, the former home and studio of Hudson River School artist Frederic Edwin Church, is one of the most visited sites in the state, featuring the unique house named "Olana", with it's mix of Victorian architecture and Middle-Eastern decorative motifs, eclectic furnishing collected from around the world, and the carefully curated surrounding landscape and views. The house is essentially just as it was in the late 1800s, complete with the entire contents of the house and Church's many collections of art and artifacts collected during his extensive world travels.

Self-guided tours of the landscape daily, year-round. Guided and unguided tours of the house Friday through Sunday, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM (March 30th-June 17th); Tuesday through Sunday, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM (June 19th-November 25th). Tours and options vary depending on season, so check out the website for specific details.
